BryceTalk
virtual artist community, 1999

Taking what we had learned from MetaSquares, we set about building a community around one of our graphics tools, Bryce. We built a chat environment that matched the aesthetics and needs of the Bryce users, and made it available from within Bryce itself. It was a special place for the artists to meet and exchange tips & tricks and share their work with one another. It became a great tool for spurring on creativity and helping people through rough spots.

Check out Susan Kitchens' Meaning of BryceTalk page for some discussion on the subject.
