Flowers of the Cinque Terre
May, 2000

A happy yellow flower.

Wild rose.

What is it about flowers that just makes you feel better about almost everything?

My first real attempt at wildlife photography...

I am calling this "Purple Fingers" because I don't know its real name...

Another rose.

I'm not sure what this is, but it reminded me of a plant I grew up with in California, a similarly yellow flowered plant with the poetic name of "broom." The broom in California is an import, and could be a distant cousin of this Italian bloom. Or maybe they just look alike...

World's biggest cricket?

The ubiquitous dandilion.

Field of daisies.

Geranium with rock.
